Yakima Canine Club

Our PlayCare includes group play and activities at both our indoor and outdoor spaces. Our outdoor turf area has shallow-low wading pools, tires, playground equipment and shaded resting areas.  All play care is continually monitored by one of our YCC staff members at all times. Our model is to have plenty of interaction time as well as rest time.

For the Half day option, choose a 5 hour block of time when booking.

 

They will have access to fresh water via our automatic watering stations. Our staff will engage them in mental exercises (group sits, recalls, wait at the gate) depending on each dog’s personality.

Our goal is to build the best day for your dog. We require an initial evaluation/assessment for every dog before they can book a group or solo PlayCare full day. Dogs naturally prefer to hang out with other dogs who share their idea of fun. If you dogs doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs, we can accommodate with our Solo PlayCare option

 

​All YCC staff are required to complete the nationally recognized Dog Gurus: Knowing Dogs 101 and 201 certification for dog behavior.  Additionally, our staff completes the Pack Pro training series on Group/Pack management. 

 

 **Playcare Meet n Greet**  For your pup's first day please select the 1st Day Intro: (Full day or Half Day-5hours) option ​

Your pup is with us for either a full day or a half day (5 hour block) for his/her first day of daycare.  This meet and greet gives your pup the chance to get familiar with our staff and facility and us to get to know your pup's playstyle .

• Reservations required through our app

• Must provide current proof of: Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella (Kennel cough)

• Kennel/crates are utilized for rest breaks as needed, so dogs attending daycare must be comfortable in a kennel or crate

• ​All dogs must be spayed/neutered by 9months of age to participate in daycare
